片约不断的巨石强森（DwayneJohnson）最近又将和迪士尼合作，主演他们根据迪士尼乐园游玩项目“森林河流之旅”（JungleCruise）创作的同名影片。迪士尼把迪士尼乐园里的游乐设施拍成电影并非首次，最成功的当属《加勒比海盗》（PiratesoftheCaribbean）系列，此外《鬼屋》（TheHauntedMansion）、《乡村熊》（TheCountryBears）和今年的《明日世界》（Tomorrowland）也都是这种类型的电影。“森林河流之旅”是迪士尼乐园1955年首次开放就有的22个迪士尼乐园元老级的项目之一，也是一个很受游客欢迎的项目，经常排长队。在这个项目中，游客们坐在小船上，在导游的讲解陪伴下经历喷水、喷火、大象、鳄鱼等各种各样的机关，完成刺激有趣的冒险之旅。迪士尼早在2004年就有了拍摄本片的念头，2011年他们甚至定下让汤姆·汉克斯（TomHanks）和蒂姆·艾伦（TimAllen）这两位《玩具总动员》里的好拍档来主演。如今新的《森林河流之旅》电影计划和那个版本有了很大的不同，影并不会把时代背景搬到现代，而是和1951年的经典冒险片《非洲女王号》（TheAfricanQueen）比较类似。
